Foundation
Keeping the economy and aesthetics in mind, traditional poured foundations have been replaced in the construction industry by such materials as small-sized concrete blocks, ALFA type hollow blocks and formwork hollow blocks.
Concrete foundation blocks are used to erect all types of walls: foundation, single-layer, retaining and basement walls. The blocks are a heavy material, however, due to their small dimensions, their installation is quick and easy. CJ BLOK® concrete blocks are produced in three different dimensions: 30x14x24; 38x12x25 and 39x14x24 cm. In addition, the blocks have no through holes, so they can be laid horizontally and vertically on any side. To ensure the required load capacity, the blocks are available in two compressive strength classes: 12.5 MPa and 25 MPa.
In recent years the formwork hollow blocks have gained popularity and are the most frequently used material for erecting monolithic foundation walls. Formwork hollow blocks can replace traditional methods of making foundations. The walls are built by pouring the hollow blocks with concrete without the use of mortar.
A very common material for the construction of foundation walls is the ALFA type hollow block, which is available in two strength classes: 12.5 MPa and 25 MPa. It is a universal hollow block used in single and multi-family and public buildings. The production of concrete blocks and ALFA hollow blocks takes place on both the Columbia and Rekers machines, which translates into packaging and the number of pieces per pallet.
Construction
CJ Blok® construction hollow blocks are high quality concrete products with high compressive strength, commonly used in Polish construction. These small-sized elements guarantee very good thermal, fire and sound insulation. In addition, they are resistant to frost and moisture. They are produced using a modern Columbia production line, a vibro-pressing technology that vibrates the concrete mix while it is being pressed. This method enables very accurate compaction of concrete mass in the hollow block. As a result, we obtain a smooth surface, even edges and dimensional repeatability, which allows us to build walls that do not require plastering, and thus reduce costs and time of construction. These hollow blocks are used for erecting foundation, structural and filling walls, as well as fire partitions. Wide range of widths of the hollow blocks' walls gives great possibilities to erect various structures, starting from partition walls, through internal and external load bearing walls. CJ Blok® construction hollow blocks can successfully replace traditional materials such as ceramic hollow blocks and bricks.

Small size concrete construction elements are made of environmentally friendly materials - sand, aggregate and cement.
LECA
Since 2005, CJ Blok®® has been cooperating with LECA Polska Sp. z o.o., a leading supplier and producer of expanded clay on the Polish market. Over the years, we have been able to diversify our offer with new expanded clay products. In 2015 we launched a modern ENERGO building, including two product groups: ENERGO walls and ENERGO chimneys. This system combines concrete, expanded clay and perlite. CJ Blok® expanded clay and perlite products are efficient, lightweight, quiet, fireproof, frost resistant, waterproof, durable, environmentally friendly, resistant to rodent, fungi and mould.
Expanded clay is a lightweight, high-quality, ecological ceramic aggregate with versatile applications. It is made of a special type of bloating clays and then fired at a very high temperature - up to approximately 1200˚C in a rotary kiln. Expanded clay is very popular as a building material because it is the lightest ceramic aggregate on the market with the highest thermal insulation. Due to its unique properties, expanded clay has excellent resistance to frost, harmful chemical and organic compounds. The porous structure of expanded clay very well disperses and absorbs sound waves, significantly suppressing noise. Another advantage of the aggregate is its vapour permeability, which translates into quick drying of the product and maintaining a favourable level of thermal insulation. Expanded clay is a non-flammable material classified in class A1, while its products do not emit any toxic substances. Expanded clay as an insulating material has a much higher strength than other insulating materials, e.g. polystyrene or mineral wool. This product has dowsing protection, so-called water vein insulation. Thanks to its broad properties, expanded clay can be used in residential, industrial and public buildings, as well as in green roofs. Due to its insulating properties it has been used to insulate floors on the ground, the ceiling and to insulate and drain basement walls. Importantly, aggregate in the construction serves for the production of lightweight structural concretes and heat-protective mortars. It is intended for making wall and ceiling hollow blocks, chimney system outer walls and ventilation ducts, as well as wall and foundation blocks. Such products are made of lightweight, vibro-pressed aggregate concrete. They provide a masonry unit for single- and multi-layer walls, inside and outside, as well as in (suspended) beam-and-block floors. These elements at the density of 850 kg/m3 and 1100 kg/m3 achieve both good thermal insulation and strength parameters. In addition, expanded clay hollow blocks can be used as a wall sound insulator. Expanded concrete products can be nearly 50% more lightweight than traditional concrete products, without losing strength.
Ceiling hollow blocks
Concrete hollow blocks are used in RECTOBETON pre-stressed ceiling systems from RECTOR. The width of the hollow blocks is fixed, but they differ in height, which makes it possible to design ceilings with the thickness from 16 to 34 cm (including concrete topping). The hollow blocks are made of pure concrete with no fillers that could reduce their strength. Each pallet includes a specific number of sealed hollow blocks, which are arranged as edge hollow blocks. As there are no separating ribs in RECTOR systems, the hollow blocks are stacked along the entire length of the beam, without leaving any space for reinforced concrete ribs. Once laid, the hollow blocks form an even plane with the bottom of the beams, which is usually finished with gypsum or cement-lime plasters.
Elevation components
CJ BLOK® elevation units are an impressive building material that combines concrete and aesthetics. Designers from all over the world use a combination of concrete and stone elements in construction projects ranging from commercial, retail, educational and residential. Our company manufactures hollow blocks, bricks and covers.

On our offer you can find wall, fence and retaining elevation hollow blocks. A characteristic feature of our concrete products is the original structure, which can be either split or ground. Concrete bricks are ideal for low, medium as well as high constructions. In addition, they are a unique solution in interior architecture. CJ BLOK® elevation hollow blocks are used for erecting walls in single and multi-family buildings, industrial facilities, public buildings and internal walls of various types of buildings, retaining walls, as well as decorative fences and landscape architecture elements. The accuracy of dimensions and even edges make it possible to build walls with an aesthetic appearance, while reducing mortar consumption. For walling and grouting of elevation elements we recommend BLOKmur masonry mortars containing trass that allows to eliminate lime efflorescence. The wide array of colours and shapes of CJ BLOK® elevation elements gives you spectacular and original solutions.
