Product description and its use
The PBS-24 formwork hollow block is used as a basic and accessory unit.
CJ Blok® 24 cm wide concrete formwork hollow block is of perfect strength and allows for quick construction of load-bearing elements, i.e. foundation and basement walls or structural walls of residential, industrial and public buildings, as well as walls of elevator shafts, retaining walls, columns and fences. Such a hollow block functions as a stay-in-place formwork. It can replace traditional wooden and metal formwork. In other words, the wall is built without mortar and then poured with concrete. As a result, walls can be built without formwork, which considerably reduces working time and costs. In walls erected with PBS-24 it is easy to use horizontal reinforcement, which depends on the loads transferred. Thanks to the smooth and even surface of the block, no additional wall plastering is necessary. The formwork hollow block provides frost resistance and low water absorption. In addition, it is much more lightweight than concrete blocks, which is of great importance for contractors. Specially profiled locks in the vertical walls of the hollow block provide an initial stiffening of the structure, which enables laying the units without a joint (dry).
Accessory unit is available in a fixed quantity on a pallet but is not sold separately. Its dimensions are identical to those of the basic hollow block (50x24x24). The unit has an additional double partition which can be cut, resulting in two elements for finishing the corners. Such a hollow block perfectly fits into dimensions of the foundation. It allows for obtaining different lengths of building walls.
